A Prayer To The Oncoming Storm
I want to fly with you.
I want to step out of my life for a time,
Have you tug me into that box
And skip me away from this world.
I am a ship in harbor;
But ready to sail.
Take me on my maiden voyage.
I can see it now;
The cities and stars you would show me.
I can hear the groans and shakes of the TARDIS
As she soars through space and time.
I need you, Doctor.
I need your smile,
Your low whisper.
I would run with you.
I would run away from the life I have,
Where everything seems to be just a little bit off,
Just a little wrong.
My whole existence is holding its breath.
So pull on the levers, Doctor,
Twist the knobs.
Push the buttons, and check the screens.
I am right here.
