I don’t know if you’re serious or not, but this is directed at either you, or your English teacher:
Panthera onca = jaguar. they live in the AMERICAS.
Panthera pardus = leopard. they live in AFRICA.
Puma concolar = panther/puma. THOSE ones are the same thing. But they look nothing like the jaguar or leopard. They are also known as mountain lions or cougars.
